The Finish Determines the Work
Some finishes release readily. Others require a mixture of removal, sanding, repair and resurfacing.
The surface is assessed before a method is recommended so an unsuitable process is not forced onto the ceiling.
What Comes After Removal
Once the texture has been addressed, the ceiling can be evaluated for seams, patches and other defects before final preparation.
Localized repair can be enough for a sound ceiling. Widespread irregularities may call for broader skim coating.
